Ingredients
  

  • 2 ounces Espresso or strong brewed coffee
  • 2 tablespoons Pumpkin puree pure, not pie filling
  • 1 cup Milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch Ground cloves
  • Whipped cream optional topping
  • Extra cinnamon for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Brew your espresso or make a strong cup of coffee and set aside while you prepare the pumpkin mixture.
  • Combine pumpkin puree, sugar, and all spices in your small saucepan over medium heat.
  • Whisk the pumpkin mixture constantly for about two minutes until it becomes fragrant and slightly bubbly.
  • Add your milk to the saucepan and continue whisking until everything blends smoothly together.
  • Heat the milk mixture until it steams but does not boil, whisking occasionally to prevent scorching.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract for added depth of flavor.
  • Pour your brewed espresso or coffee into your favorite large mug.
  • Add the warm pumpkin milk mixture to your coffee and stir well to combine everything.
  • Top with whipped cream if you want extra indulgence and richness.
  • Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the whipped cream for a beautiful finishing touch.

Notes

Use pure pumpkin puree for best results. Store leftover pumpkin spice mixture in the refrigerator for up to five days. Adjust sweetness and spice levels to your personal preference.
