Equipment

  • 1 Large punch bowl or pitcher
  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 1 Long-handled spoon for stirring
  • 1 Ladle for serving

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Pineapple juice chilled, 100% juice preferred
  • 1 cup Coconut cream well shaken
  • 4 cups Ginger ale chilled
  • 2 cups Frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup Coconut rum optional, for adult version
  • 6 wedges Fresh pineapple for garnish
  • 12 whole Maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions

  • Chill all your liquid ingredients for at least two hours before mixing.
  • Pour the pineapple juice into your punch bowl or large pitcher.
  • Add frozen pineapple chunks to the juice.
  • Shake the coconut cream well before opening and pour it gently over the back of a spoon onto the pineapple juice surface.
  • Watch as the coconut cream floats on top, creating that signature snowy layer.
  • Add the ginger ale slowly, pouring it down the side of the bowl to preserve carbonation.
  • Give everything one gentle stir from the bottom to incorporate flavors slightly while maintaining the layered look.
  • Add your coconut rum now if you're making an adult version.
  • Garnish with fresh pineapple wedges around the bowl's edge and scatter a few maraschino cherries for color.
  • Serve immediately in chilled glasses with additional pineapple wedges and cherries for individual garnishes.

Notes

All ingredients should be well chilled before mixing. Add ginger ale and coconut cream right before serving for best results. For non-alcoholic version, omit the rum. Store leftovers in refrigerator for up to 2 days.
